Cargo transport can face the risk of “container rain” or “cargo sweat” when internal container temperature meets the dew point, leading to condensation on surfaces. Humi Dryer Plus contains a specialized blend of polymer gelling agents and calcium chloride. Its purpose is to safeguard cargo during transit by reducing container humidity levels.
Prevent Container Rain
Shipping desiccants lower the dew point, preventing condensation on container surfaces and preventing issues like mildew, corrosion, and damage. The cargo desiccant strips are versatile, shielding items during transportation, including electronics, machinery, wood, and textiles.
This shipping container desiccant bag can absorb up to 200% of its weight in moisture. They are safe for disposal and suitable for use with food, pharmaceuticals, and commodities like flour, rice, canned foods, and coffee beans. Once moisture is absorbed, the desiccant strip made from Tyvek forms a concentrated gel inside the container bag. The gel remains secure, preventing leakage.
