ShockWatch 2

The ShockWatch 2 is an impact indicator that signals the mishandling or dropping of a product during transit and delivery. It is tamper-proof, turning bright red upon a damage-related incident.

Impact Packaging Indicator

The ShockWatch 2 indicator labels have a bi-directional vertical response feature and can be easily affixed to the external packaging of a shipment. These impact indicators reduce damage costs by indicating when products have encountered potentially damaging impacts during transit, especially for larger and heavier items.

Visual Signals for Product Protection

ShockWatch 2 labels or sensors come in seven sensitivities, each identified by a different colour. Choose the appropriate sensitivity based on the product and packaging’s ability to withstand non-operational shocks specified by the manufacturer, or according to the shipment’s size and weight.

To help identify potential handling issues, the ShockWatch 2 provides a clear visual status. If no mishandling occurs, the top or bottom window remains white. If an impact is detected, the window turns red, alerting recipients to inspect the package for possible damage.

QR Version Available

ShockWatch 2 is offered in a QR-enabled version for improved impact monitoring and shipment traceability. A simple smart device scan captures impact event details together with time, location, and serial number, generating a digital record that supports accountability, cargo handling verification, and incident investigation throughout transit and storage.
