VCI Film incorporates VCI properties to release VCI molecules that stick to the surface of the equipment, protecting it from corrosion or rusting. Like a normal stretch film, VCI protects goods by securing them to each other and the pallet, preventing product damage and tampering. Hence, VCI can be used anywhere, where the stretch wrap is used, such as during transportation or in warehouses. The film also forms a physical barrier between the product and the external environment, shielding it from damaging factors in the surrounding such as moisture and oxygen. With the additional capabilities of the VCI, it also ensures that the product will be free of corrosion or rust.

Ideal for equipment where surface protection like painting or oiling is not possible or practical, VCI film can protect metals for years in an enclosed environment.

VCI Film also provides enhanced protection compared to other methods due to its molecules which spread through diffusion, cover and protecting every area of the equipment including hard to reach areas, which painting or oiling are unable to do so. When the protection is no longer needed, expose the equipment to air, and the VCI molecules will naturally dissipate, removing the need for washing.
