Container Awning Safety Net

Description

The Container Awning Safety Net is designed to ensure that cargo and goods are secured firmly in containers, preventing them from slipping, tilting and falling when the container doors are opened which would result in damage to goods and workplace injuries.

Why is Container Awning Safety Nets needed?

During transportation, goods may shift and tilt against the door due to rough handling during transit. This poses as a threat for workers when they open the doors to unload the goods, as these goods may fall out, causing damage to not only the products but also danger to the safety of workers. With Container Awning Safety Nets, we can minimise and prevent related workplace injuries and damage of goods.

How does it work?

  1. Hook the four vertical straps into the existing container attachment points.
  2. Put the straps into position to the container door.
  3. Fully load the container.
  4. Fix and pre-tension the cover by inserting the four straps into the sewed on clamp locks.
  5. Connect the straps diagonally, each with a closure, and clamp using a clamping device.
  6. Your goods are secured against tilting, slipping and falling.

Benefits of Container Awning Safety Nets

Our Container Awning Safety Nets is capable of protecting and shipping lighter, small goods and loose cartons as it is hole and gap-free, unlike regular Container Safety Nets.

It consists of four 25mm strapping belts of 3.5 meters with an attacked hook on one end and a 2.3 x 2.3 meter PP Woven Sheet with four attached clamp locks, one at each corner. This hook allows fast and efficient installation and utilisation without the need for any extra attachments.

Our Container Awning Safety Net is made of G85 strapping with a linear strength of 1,000 daN making the net extremely firm and durable, capable of holding the first row of cartons safely back in the container. With the addition of a cross lashing, the Container Awning Safety Net is far more durable than most container netting systems. It is highly versatile for many applications and industries such as engineering and machinery, power and refinery, logistics and many more.
